EPA Fresh Water Standards – The New Battle at Taylor Creek
The Miccosukee Tribe of Florida Sued the Environmental Protection Agency in U.S. District Court in Miami in 1995 and the Florida Wildlife Federation followed with their complaint on July 17, 2008. Taylor Creek is located in Okeechobee, Florida. The Taylor Stormwater Treatment Area is maintained by South Florida Water Management District, and a must visit for birders, walkers and photographers. All photos were taken at the Taylor STA. -
